PDC have developed this large 4" airbox which has been used for big power V8's and high power turbo motors, both diesel and petrol- With serious airflow requirements. It is combined with a 4" through bonnet snorkel.

Unlike many 4" snorkels, you do not have to cut holes in the inner guard, which often creates roadworthiness issues because you have cut through a structural part of the body. Instead the snorkel passes above the inner guard and through a hole cut in the corner of the bonnet using our template.

This also places the snorkel out of harms way, reducing the chances of it being torn off on trees or banks.

The snorkel mounts on 2 existing M6 weld nuts in the inner guard and the pillar mount which is attached using 7 rivets and a polyurethane adhesive for waterproofness.

To fit this kit you must relocate all existing components from the rear of the passenger guard. This often includes Ignition Coil, diesel vacuum systems, vacuum locker solenoids, LPG converters etc. Your factory radiator overflow bottle must be shifted forward as per the images.

Included is a Donaldson vacuator valve, this valve is installed at the lowest point of the airbox housing to allow any water to drain out.

This kit represents great value when compared to separate airbox and snorkel purchases. Not to mention the compactness, huge airflow capacity and ease of installation.

Fits series 1-2-3 requires modification to fit series 4 shape onward.

All come with large radial filter, template and rubber pinch weld for the bonnet cut. I get a lot of questions "how much for the snorkel and airbox?" they are welded to each other so come as one.
"are these legal?"
Yes they are legal with a permit same as an intercooler is, it requires the bonnet to be cut and shut.
